| I've been thinking about this for a week or so. It's a bit of a self
indulgent item. If I go ahead it could be great or a poison chalice I wish
I had never picked up. The idea is that I will post one image from my
life/world per day for the next year (365). Now, obviously some days it
will be almost impossible to pick one from the many images taken. Other
days it may be hard to have an image at all. I'll try to be true and post
them as they happen but sometimes (holidays/trips etc) they may have to be
posted retrospectively.
"I wish I had started last week" The reason that is in quotes is not because I know of someone saying it, but because it is a Steve T quote I'd like to be remembered by. |
|
| She's got the feeling for sure! |
| great idea, Steve. I'll be following along for sure! |
| I can't wait. Why didn't you start last week? |
| OK, here's todays pic. Long and tiring, but very satisfying day. More
info here http://www.tvo.org.uk/obb.htm
We ran multi media roadshow and here is a pic from the "photo lab" area. The "photo wall" is behind them. These kids took pictures, we printed them and they took them home.

| Camera-work did not work out today. I knew I was giving myself a hard
task. What I'll do in this instance is to pull a favourite image out of my
archives. I'm particularly fond of this one which I call "Sons Of
Consett". The town of my birth, Consett had a 140 year tradition of Steel
Making. I went to work there after leaving school like my father and his
father before him. This pic shows from right to left;- me, my father, his
father, his father and his father.
|
| Wonderful, Steve! How fortunate to have images that far back. |
| Totally Cool! |
| Todays Pic
That's me on the left and my colleague Andrew on the right. We are
shifting computers out of our UK Online centre to (a) have the carpet
fixed and (b) to re-design the layout. Pic when finished.

Lunch In The Park |
| Nice lunch environs! |
Expecting a busy day today so I'll post another one from the archives.
This is a pic of me produced by my colleague Andrew. I work at the
University of Teesside. In a big institution it is easy to get into
trouble without even trying. This depicts the time I "accidentally"
ordered a video camera by e-mail. The green purchase order I should have
used is pinned to my chest.
|
| heehee |
| Guess the green purchase order will haunt you for the rest of your
life. (which according to the picture might not be for that long) Your college obviously have a nice sense of humor. |
| LOL |
This is me with a bunch of teachers and trainers today.I was showing
them how to run online quizzes using a system we've developed. It is
planned that several secondary schools will be taking up the online
challenge.
|
| We visit Stockton Market on Saturdays. Had to make a choice between 4
but I went for this one because of the artsy look of rthe sunlight. The
woman in the white top is my wife Molly paying for her vegetables.
|
| I like this very much Steven, what a great idea! |
It was a beautiful morning today so I had a walk down to the river.
Here is one of the pics I took. I need to learn more about photography.
The light was beautiful and I saw several lovely scenes but very few seem
to have been "captured". the location is Yarm and the river is the Tees.
Interestingly the river runs through where I live AND where I work. An
image of the Tees at Midlesbrough is an entirely different thing.
|
| Great bridge~ |
| I love the blue colours; very intense! |
| This river interests me a great deal. I will be bringing you several
more pictures of it during my 365. Downstream it all gets quite
industrial. Upstream there is a lovely waterfall.
This month is the 275th anniversary of Captain Cooks birth in the Town where I work. To celebrate this the replica of the Endeavour will sail into the Tees. I'll bring you pictures of that. |
Lovely crisp morning as I left for the office today at 8am. Look back
down the road, that's my house on the right |
Centre Of Middlesbrough, starting to look and feel a bit Autumnal
