Sports Mela 2007

The Family Sports Mela at Albert Park on Saturday July 14th from 11am - 5pm is an ideal opportunity for both children and adults to participate or spectate in a wide range of sporting and physical activities most of which will be Free. Why not come along and try to reach the top of the climbing wall, bounce as high as you can on the bungee trampolines, have a go on the Tennis factory, join in with the RFU Roadshow, try and find your way around the Orienteering course and also test your power on the football speed cage. There is activity for everyone of any age. For something a little more sedate then join one of the Middlesbrough Mela Miles - a mile walk around the park. There will also be football & cricket activity, fitness demos, lots of advice on healthy lifestyles, face painting, indian head massages and you could even be mesmerised by our magican.
