A Tees Valley Community Media partnership between Destinations@Saltburn, Bydales School and Marske Library in the Teesside SID project (Social Inclusion Demonstrators)



Vera (above) came into Marske Library to share her photos and tell us her stories. In the picture below she is the teacher on the left in the back row. Sadly some of the children pictured died in the diphtheria epidemic of 1934/35. To the right is a letter that Vera received about this. Click on the letter to see a larger version you can read.

The first digital archiving session with the Bydales School archivists was a great success and you can read some of the students impressions here (image gallery below)
