Toughest Villages in Britain.

Hi, I watched this programme on Sky not long ago and saw that your village, Skinningrove, was featured on there.
I took an immediate interest in your Village and hence, found this web-site.
I have noticed that a lot of the web-site is un-linkable due to server errors, etc, but nevermind, a good effort all the same.

I am contacting you in a plea for help. I am currently studying for a degree in English and I have taken the unusual decision to base a part of my work on your Village. I have at present plenty of local photographs and press-cuttings to aid in my studies but I am struggling to find out about the history of your Village.

YES! I have access to the internet but you can only go so far with such public references such as Google!

I would appreciate it very much if you could e-mail me with any helpful links, etc and I would gladly e-mail you back with stuff I have found myself.

I started this e-mail commenting on a programme which featured your Village. Can I just say that most people who watched it would know that it was a bit tongue in cheek and not to be taken seriously.
I live in Essex, which also had a village highlighted in a similair programme.

Thank you for your time in reading my mail, I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks in advance, Rob Morgan.
