The Skinningrove paddle day was hard work and
fun in the sunshine.
All ages came down to the beach to clear the huge amounts of timber
that had come down in the floods and to have picnics and to paddle.
The
day was organised by artist Jean Grant and the village residents. Jean
and others made a huge circle of decorated upturned trees around a
bonfire as a central picnic area.
